Water on the laundry room floor gets your attention fast. So does a washer that spins hard enough to shake the wall, or one that fills forever and never agitates, or a drum full of soaking clothes because the drain pump quit. Many Albany basements have washers wedged next to the furnace with two feet of clearance, and we're used to working in that space. Top-load or front-load, we check pumps, belts, valves, lids switches and bearings before we touch anything else. Send the quote form or call us and tell us the model and the sound it makes.
Taking calls until 5:00 PM ET

We take calls across 12202, 12203, 12206 and 12208, plus West Albany, Troy and Clifton Park.
It narrows the area, not the part. A drain code can mean the pump, the filter, the hose, or the sensor reading pressure. We use the code as a starting point, then test the circuit to find which piece actually failed.
Different trouble. Front-loaders bring door boot leaks, bearing noise, and filter clogs. Top-loaders bring lid switches, couplers, and agitator wear. We service both, and the diagnosis path differs for each.
Residue. Detergent film and lint build up in the boot, the dispenser, and the drain hose, and bacteria live in it. We clean those paths and check that the machine drains fully, since standing water keeps the smell coming back.
Usually yes. Old Northeast houses hand us narrow stairs and low headroom all the time. We bring a light, drop cloths, and pull the machine only as far as the repair needs before sliding it back.
Most Albany addresses get a same-week window, and often next-day if we have the part on the van. Morning slots go first, so call us early. If you're in a walk-up or the driveway is tight, mention it when you book — it changes how we load out.
Call us or fill out the form. Describe what you hear, smell or see. Brand and rough age help. We ask a few questions so the tech arrives with likely parts on the truck.
Pick a window that works. Our tech tests the machine, checks power, water and drainage, then explains what failed in plain words. No jargon, no guessing out loud at your kitchen table.
Most jobs finish the same visit. If a part must be ordered, we tell you what and why. If the unit isn't worth fixing, we say that too, and you decide.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
Describe the fault, approve the written quote, get it fixed. Starting takes about a minute.
