The independent appliance repair shop across the Northeast
Appliance Repair in Rhode Island
We repair washers, dryers, fridges, ovens, dishwashers and freezers across Rhode Island. Pick your city below, or call us and tell us what the appliance is doing. The houses here run small and old, so we're used to narrow cellar stairs in Providence and kitchens in triple-deckers where the dishwasher door hits the cabinets. Near the shore, salt air goes after a washer drum. Cramped spaces are most of our week.

What homeowners say after the visit
“My tenants dealt with them directly and the whole repair happened without me leaving work.”
Victor A.Toms River, NJ“The dryer vent was packed solid. Airflow now is night and day, and towels dry in one cycle.”
Joyce E.Nashua, NH“He quoted the repair, then told me honestly the control board might follow within a year. I repaired anyway, eyes open.”
Alan W.Brooklyn, NYQuestions Rhode Island homeowners ask
How do I check that you're a real repair company?
Ask us straight out, then go verify it. Look up our business registration, ask for a written description of the work before we start, and get the tech's name when we confirm your appointment. We're an independent repair company and no manufacturer sends us. Do that homework on anyone you let into your house.
Which Rhode Island towns do you cover?
The whole state. Providence and Pawtucket, down through Warwick, Cranston, East Greenwich and the Bay towns, out to Newport and Westerly. The city pages below list where we go most often. If your town isn't on the list, call us and ask.
When can someone come out?
Call us and we'll walk through the open windows. We book an arrival window instead of an exact minute, because a job in a walk-up can run long. If we're running behind, we'll call you rather than leave you waiting by the door.
What should I have ready when I call?
Brand, model number and the symptom. The model tag usually hides inside the fridge wall, on the dishwasher door frame, or behind the dryer door. Tell us what you hear and see, too. Buzzing, standing water, a burning smell, a drum that won't spin. That's how we know which parts to load.
Do I need to clear space before the tech arrives?
It helps a lot. Old Rhode Island basements and pantries get tight fast. Move laundry baskets, boxes and pet bowls off the unit, and clear a path to the door. If the appliance sits in a closet or under a counter, say so on the phone so we can plan the pull-out.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us the symptom
Call us or fill out the form and describe what you hear, smell or see. Brand and rough age help. We ask a few questions first so the tech shows up with the likely parts already on the truck.
- Step 2
We come look
Pick a window that works for you. The tech tests the machine and checks power, water and drainage, then tells you what failed in plain words. No jargon. No guessing out loud at your kitchen table.
- Step 3
Repair or straight answer
Most jobs finish on the same visit. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you what it is and why. And if the unit isn't worth fixing, we say that, then you decide.

Why homeowners call us
- Old houses don't scare usRowhouse kitchens, narrow cellar stairs, stacked units jammed into closets. We've pulled machines through doorways built long before these appliances existed. We protect floors and trim, and everything goes back where it stood.
- Symptom-first diagnosisA dryer that runs cold and a dryer that trips the breaker are two different problems. We test before we replace. That keeps us from swapping out good parts and handing you a bill for nothing.
- Independent, not a brand agentWe repair all major brands and answer to no manufacturer. So we recommend the fix that makes sense for your machine and your budget, and that includes telling you when replacement is the smarter move.
- All major brands, gas & electricIndependent service on Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, GE, Maytag, Bosch, KitchenAid and the rest.
- Straight answersNot worth fixing? We say that out loud, and often it saves you the visit fee.
