Water sitting in the drum after the cycle ends. That's usually a clogged pump, a kinked drain hose, or a lid switch the machine can't read. Other calls: the washer walks across the floor on spin, or fills forever and never agitates. Basement laundry in a Queens two-family means tight corners and old standpipes, and we've worked plenty of them. Bring us the noise, the error code, or just the puddle. We repair all major brands, independently. Call us or use the quote form and tell us what stage it quits at.
Taking calls until 5:00 PM ET

We cover 10451, 10455, 10461 and 10462, and cross into Brooklyn, Elmont and Valley Stream on the same routes.
It narrows the area, not the part. A drain code can mean the pump, the filter, the hose, or the sensor reading pressure. We use the code as a starting point, then test the circuit to find which piece actually failed.
Different trouble. Front-loaders bring door boot leaks, bearing noise, and filter clogs. Top-loaders bring lid switches, couplers, and agitator wear. We service both, and the diagnosis path differs for each.
Residue. Detergent film and lint build up in the boot, the dispenser, and the drain hose, and bacteria live in it. We clean those paths and check that the machine drains fully, since standing water keeps the smell coming back.
Usually yes. Old Northeast houses hand us narrow stairs and low headroom all the time. We bring a light, drop cloths, and pull the machine only as far as the repair needs before sliding it back.
Most calls get a same-week window, and we try for next-day when a fridge or a leaking washer is involved. Give us your cross street and building type when you call us — a walk-up with no service elevator changes how long we block off. If your co-op or landlord requires a certificate of insurance, say so up front so we can send it ahead.
Call us or fill out the form. Describe what you hear, smell or see. Brand and rough age help. We ask a few questions so the tech arrives with likely parts on the truck.
Pick a window that works. Our tech tests the machine, checks power, water and drainage, then explains what failed in plain words. No jargon, no guessing out loud at your kitchen table.
Most jobs finish the same visit. If a part must be ordered, we tell you what and why. If the unit isn't worth fixing, we say that too, and you decide.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
Describe the fault, approve the written quote, get it fixed. Starting takes about a minute.
