Burners clicking without lighting? That's usually a wet or cracked igniter, not a gas problem, though we verify safely before anything else. Weak flames, orange flames, or one burner dead while the rest work all have separate causes. On electric ranges we test coils, sockets and the surface control. Smell gas and you should shut the valve and call the utility first. Paterson has plenty of ranges older than the kitchens around them, and parts are often still available. We service all major brands independently. Talk it through with us or send the form.

From Paterson we cover 07026, 07057 and 07070, plus Fair Lawn, Garfield, Clifton and Passaic.
Both, plus dual-fuel and induction. Gas work means igniters, valves, orifices and safety valves. Electric means elements, infinite switches and relay boards. Induction means coils and power modules. Tell us which you have when you call us.
Almost always a part, not the appliance. A drifting temperature sensor is the usual culprit, sometimes the control board or a cracked element. We test the sensor's resistance cold, so the diagnosis isn't guesswork.
Yes, and it's usually a small repair. On gas that points at one igniter or a blocked orifice. On electric it's often the element or its receptacle. Isolated failures are simpler than whole-range problems.
That's most of the homes we visit. Rowhouses and walk-ups don't leave much clearance. We protect the floor, walk the range out carefully, and check for a gas shutoff before anything moves.
Tell us the symptom when you call us and we'll give you the next open window, often same week. Street parking near downtown and the Hillcrest blocks can be tight, so we ask which side of the street is clear and whether the basement door is around back.
Call us or fill out the form. Describe what you hear, smell or see. Brand and rough age help. We ask a few questions so the tech arrives with likely parts on the truck.
Pick a window that works. Our tech tests the machine, checks power, water and drainage, then explains what failed in plain words. No jargon, no guessing out loud at your kitchen table.
Most jobs finish the same visit. If a part must be ordered, we tell you what and why. If the unit isn't worth fixing, we say that too, and you decide.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
Describe the fault, approve the written quote, get it fixed. Starting takes about a minute.
