Three cycles and the towels are still damp. That's the usual complaint. Sometimes it's a heating element, sometimes a thermal fuse, sometimes a blower wheel packed with lint. Drums that squeal, drums that won't turn, doors that won't latch — all fixable. Many Washington units near The Wharf are stacked pairs in closets, and we pull and reset them carefully. We're independent and repair all major brands. Stop running it on high heat while it struggles. Get us on the phone, or fill out the quote form and we'll follow up.

We cover 20001, 20002, 20005 and 20009, plus Golden Triangle, Downtown DC, The Wharf and Shaw.
Almost always airflow. Lint collects in the duct, the hood flap sticks, or a crushed flex hose behind the machine strangles exhaust. Heat builds, the dryer cycles off early, and clothes stay damp. We check the whole run, not just the screen.
Treat it that way. Stop the dryer, unplug it or shut the gas valve, and don't run it again. Scorched lint near the element or a failing motor both smell like that. Call us and we'll talk through what you're smelling.
Yes. Gas units add igniters, flame sensors and gas valve coils to the list of parts that fail. Electric units come down to elements, fuses and thermostats. We diagnose both, and we handle stacked and side-by-side setups.
Often, yes. Belts, rollers, fuses and elements are ordinary wear parts on a cabinet that's otherwise sound. If the drum is cracked or the bulkhead is rusted through, we say so plainly and you decide.
Usually within a day or two, sometimes same day if a route opens near you. Call us with your ZIP and the symptom. If your building needs a service elevator reserved or a loading dock time, say so when you book so we schedule around it.
Call us or fill out the form. Describe what you hear, smell or see. Brand and rough age help. We ask a few questions so the tech arrives with likely parts on the truck.
Pick a window that works. Our tech tests the machine, checks power, water and drainage, then explains what failed in plain words. No jargon, no guessing out loud at your kitchen table.
Most jobs finish the same visit. If a part must be ordered, we tell you what and why. If the unit isn't worth fixing, we say that too, and you decide.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
